We are proud to announce that the charity which we have chosen to sponsor for 2020 is The Pepper Foundation, a charity which aim to alleviate suffering of children diagnosed with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses.
Speaking on behalf of The Pepper Foundation, Charity Fundraiser Ruth Proudfoot said “Our specialist nurses provide paediatric care for children living with serious illnesses in Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. Care is provided free of charge in the patients own homes and the nurses are unique to the area in that they are available 24 hours a day, all year round. Last year, the nursing team cared for 60 babies, children and young people diagnosed with a wide range of illnesses including, cancer, motor neurone disease and other rare genetic disorders. Our aim is to ensure that children of complex health needs can enjoy the best quality of life possible, however short that life may be.”
Throughout the year, as a company we will be holding various charity fundraising events in order to raise as much money as possible for this incredible cause.
Our annual charity lunch will be held in May 2020 which will be our main fundraising event for the charity. Further details on this event will be announced shortly.
