How should I deal with an investigation into overseas income?

HMRC are now provided with information about accounts held abroad by UK taxpayers. The interest by HMRC in overseas bank accounts (it is not a crime to hold money overseas, despite what the papers may imply) has resulted in their carrying out many inappropriate and unfounded investigations, and we have a wealth of experience in nipping such things in the bud.

If you have disclosed the income on the account each year you have nothing to worry about, other than ensuring HMRC have correctly identified your income. If you have not done so we can help you to collate the necessary information, calculate our tax liability and negotiate a settlement with HMRC.
