Joanne specialises in corporate tax and advises businesses on their tax affairs. She has a vast amount of knowledge covering HMRC enquiries and compliance.
Joanne is an experienced tax professional specialising in corporate tax, qualifying as a Chartered Tax Advisor in 2009.
Prior to joining Hillier Hopkins, Joanne spent over 15 years at HM Revenue and Customs as an Inspector of Taxes, dealing throughout her career with businesses of all sizes, from mid-market to the largest multinational corporate groups. Whilst at HMRC, Joanne also spent some time in policy, where she led on delivering a number of budget measures, giving her unique insight into how tax policy is implemented. Joanne also spent one year at a big four accountancy firm, advising clients on a wide range of topics.
